Directing Portfolio

Award-Winning & Versatile Theatre Director with an extensive track record directing junior musicals, high school and college productions, and professional regional theatre. I bring a dynamic blend of artistic vision, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership to every project. My directing portfolio spans beloved classics, contemporary plays, and iconic musicals—each production crafted to be inclusive, ensemble-driven, and emotionally resonant. From large-scale musicals with intricate staging and choreography to intimate, character-focused dramas, I excel at script and score analysis, staging, and working hand-in-hand with designers, choreographers, and musical directors to create a unified, visually stunning production.

I am deeply committed to making every performer feel heard, seen, and valued, fostering rehearsal rooms where creativity thrives and all voices contribute to the storytelling process. My work has been recognized with multiple awards, including for directing the Richmond Critics Award-winning production of How Black Mothers Say I Love You and producing sold-out runs of Rent as Head of Musical Theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University. With years of experience mentoring students and artists—from first-time performers in junior musicals to advanced college actors preparing for professional careers—I create spaces where talent is nurtured, confidence is built, and excellence is achieved. Every production I direct is not just a performance—it’s an unforgettable artistic journey for both cast and audience.
